Jesus please have pity on the desperation that so many unemployed persons experience, as so many people are losing their jobs…and their businesses…and their homes.
Jesus have mercy regarding these serious issues for lives and relationships.
Please help families to survive economically and emotionally, when livelihoods are endangered or lost.
Jesus please encourage an improvement in the economy so that unemployment issues and financial difficulties ease. Please help the unemployed to find work.

Jesus You lived amongst us and experienced the need for food, clothes and shelter, and saw the hard labor that Joseph undertook for You and Your dear Mother as you grew up, and we presume that subsequently, You carried on his trade to support You and Your Mother.
Later, when You went about teaching the gospel, You were supported by donations from the labors of others, so now in our lifetimes we ask You help that those who are unemployed or under-employed will quickly find secure and satisfying work.

Dear St. Joseph. You who taught our Lord the skills and value of work. Join with us to pray for me, for Carolyn72850, catmom50’s husband, Anthony, Keran, my friend Juli, my cousin and all those who are in search of a job. Help us to find a rewarding job here and help us to do God’s work and earn the everlasting reward. I pray too for hope for us all. Let us not despair or be discouraged. Amen.
