Merciful God please have great compassion on all those who ask our prayers for their failing or broken marriages and relationships, and upon those who have no one to turn to for support and prayer.

We implore You to give them strength and faith to make every good attempt, in cooperation with Your grace and Holy Spirit, to restore their marriage. If this fails due to someone’s hardness of heart or inability to commit, please comfort and protect the abandoned spouse and family

Please be merciful upon these couples and all who have marriage and/or relationship difficulties. Please help those whose marriages or relationships are faltering because of illness, unemployment and stress.

Please help those whose marriages are failing due to lack of communication, or due to infidelity. We ask Your powerful help for these couples and their families. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help them resolve their issues. Please help families to flourish in love and unity and with gospel values.

Please heal those individuals, and those families, who are suffering as consequence of marriage and relationship break-up. Please give them healing and please give them courage and comfort, and hope for a future which will again hold happiness.

We ask Your ongoing support and blessing for those who have lost a spouse or a beloved. To do so can be as excruciating as an emotional amputation, and the betrayal that the loss of love signifies can almost destroy and person.

The hopes and the realizations, the grief and the regrets can be almost beyond bearing.
The grief comes in waves, sometimes with raw intensity.
Please hold in Your heart, each person thus wounded and all affected by relationship breakup.

:imsorry: I’ve seen this sort of situation begin… :bighanky:

With Our Lady’s pleas to God, though, much can be accomplished…:byzsoc: I prayed to Our Lady, Queen of Motherhood, and guess what? The couple I was praying for got back together!!! Please pray to Our Lady!!!👍

(And just for another excuse to use a smiley) : St Cecilia, pray for us!!:harp:
:heaven:

Emotional amputation… My heart is not wholly severed…its being kept just barely alive…Im praying for guidance and hope in this situation…and I am getting it…not just guidance but seeing the stark reality of what I have been fed for over 4 years now…I’m a secret…:crying::crying::crying: I think I have been hoping on a lie…

Sorry for that last post but Im hurting real bad…Im in a long distance relationship… and somethings that I believed were to happen…will not and I don’t believe ever will 😦

Its a long story but I will add my prayers for those in the same or simular positions as myself… Emotional amputation says it all… I feel like im in “undead” realtionship…its not alive but not quite dead… but close

Praying for all of you and I need prayers in return. I’m glad I’m not the only one struggling. Just remember God never gives you more than you can handle. Tomorrow is another day and better for all…hopefully 🙂

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.

As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.

Remember, O most pure spouse of Mary, and my dearly beloved guardian, St. Joseph, that never was it known that anyone who invoked your care and requested your help was left without consolation.

Inspired with this confidence, I come to you, and with all the ardor of my spirit I commend myself to you. Do not reject my prayer, O Foster Father of the Savior, but graciously receive and answer it.

Amen.
