Please pray for my wife and I. We’re flying to NJ on Thanksgiving day 11/22/18, and flying back to CA on Monday 11/26/18. Please pray for us to have safe round trip flights with good weather. Please pray for us to have safe travels while we’re in NJ visiting my family and for my sister’s wedding.

I have a severe fear of flying, but I need to start traveling for work. Plus, my wife wants to start taking long distance vacations that require airline travel. It’s not fair that she be punished by not traveling because of my fear. I know, statistically, it’s the “safest” way to travel, but I’ve never felt safe in a plane. I know we all have to die eventually, but that’s the one way I don’t wish to go. We’ve been married only 3 years and we’re trying to have a family. Please ask God & Jesus to protect us.

Thank you in advance and God bless everyone who reads this and prays for us! I wish you all a very Happy, blessed & safe Thanksgiving holiday, and I hope to give you all the good news that we’ve arrived back home in CA safely!

O Almighty and merciful God, who hast commissioned Thy angels to guide and protect us, command them to be our assiduous companions from our setting out until our return; to clothe us with their invisible protection; to keep from us all danger of collision, of fire, of explosion, of fall and bruises, and finally, having preserved us from all evil, and especially from sin, to guide us to our heavenly home. Praying for your intentions.

Recommend you fly flight simulator software. Also watch videos of people flying and teaching about it. Learn about how a plane flys and how to control it. If you drive a car do you freak out at the thought? You know how to drive and how to mitigate the risks. Because of this it is probably not as big of a deal. It is the same with flying. Once you know and understand it your fear level goes down. Airline pilots are trained much better than you were for driving your car. They know to mitigate risks while flying. I recommend learning about flying. Remember you have to do your part to overcome your fear. One cannot just pray for clean teeth but never brush their teeth.

Philippians 4:6-7 : Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Thanks for the prayer intention! Yes I agree, I’m not going to get over my fear by staying on the ground. I told my wife I don’t want this to stop us from traveling, because there’s so many places we wish to travel to. I’ll let you know how the trip went when we get back to CA next week. Update everyone! Thanks be to our loving God, our Creator & Father in Heaven, my wife & I made it back home to CA safely. Our trip back east was fantastic! Flights were a tad bit scary, but thanks be to God we made it back safely. I told my wife that even though I have a fear of flying, I can’t let it stop us from traveling the country and the world, because it’s not fair to her. I just have to put my faith in God and ask Him for protection whenever we travel, through any form of transportation.

I can’t thank all of you enough for praying for me! I’m forever thankful to you all! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Take care and God bless you and your families always and forever!
