Prayers for victims of domestic abuse

Please continue to pray for victims of domestic abuse. So many, not all, are mothers and children having to move from one state to another to escape mistreatment. They often end up in hotels, using up what little funds they’ve saved, until they can be assisted by Catholic ministries, taken into already-crowded shelters, or signing up with social service organizations in their new location.

Praying for the women, children, and men (though rare) who are the victims of domestic abuse.
 
I work with my computer. Please pray that I continue to do so.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (victims of domestic abuse). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into victims of domestic abuse’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Only You our God , know how terribly victims of abuse suffer, and how many people are hidden victims
Please have mercy on all these people, many of whom are innocent little children.
Mother Mary please intercede for theirescape from abuse, for their protection and healing.

I’m praying for them. Often, what happens is that they think their abuse is their own fault. The abuser convinces them that they deserve to be beaten. That is a lie; nobody deserves to be beaten. May the Lord comfort the abused ones. May He also show them that they are not worthless and that no one deserves to be beaten. May the Lord also protect them from falling into suicidal thoughts and/or self-loathing.

Beloved Lord, our hearts ache knowing so many do suffer from abuse, and also realising that numerous children and adults suffer abuse unknown to others.
Please be with them, please console and help them to retain their inner strength and beauty despite the torture of any kind of abuse. Please ensure that they escape where that is possible, and find healing.
 
That they may find the strength to escape their torment.
