Dear all,

Please join me in praying for an increase in vocations, given the rapidly declining number of seminarians.

Let us pray for faithful young men to join the priesthood, recognising the value of service and self sacrifice.

The harvest is plenty…but the labourers are few.
And let’s pray for seminarians, that they stay the course and that God blesses them abundantly in both time and in eternity.

Prayer for Vocations

O Father, you desire all of us to be happy.
Stir up the grace of a religious vocation in the hearts
of many men and women.
Grant to them the willingness and generosity
to give of themselves,their lives, their time and their
talents to the service of Jesus Christ, Your Son, Our Lord and
Savior, and to His Holy Church.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

May the Holy Spirit, guide those who are becoming Priest,and to take their vows ,believe in Jesus,and bring us closer too Jesus. Also may other man want to join the Priesthood. AMEN

PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

o Lord Jesus Christ,
who didst take to Thyself a body and soul like ours,
to teach us the glory of self-sacrifice and service,
mercifully deign to instil in other hearts
the desire to dedicate their lives to Thee,
Priests to stand before Thy alter,
to speak the words of Thy gospel,
Brothers and Sisters to bear the sacred office
of teaching the young,
of nursing the sick,
the aged and infirmed,
the needy and distressed.
Give wisdom, strength, courage and skill
to those who serve You now.
Fill the hearts with zeal and love of Thee.
With divine insistence,
call others to their aid
and Thy Name may be known and loved forever.

Amen.
