Prayers for wife

Without going into a long winded message here, i am requesting prayers for my wife as it’s the only thing that will help.
After all our kids went of to college she became an Atheist and will not have anything to do with my church
She is severely depressed and in ‘care’ and on some very strong medication
She is also an alcoholic.
Our relationship is in the tank. Even though her shrink and Dr know she is an alcoholic, (I called them both and told them) they continue to keep her on medication that requires no alcohol.
I am at my wits end and can’t think of anything else to do except to ask for prayers.

Al-anon and ACA may be able to provide you support. They don’t fix anything, but give you ways to help yourself.
 
Lord, please cleave the difficulty of this marital and medical situation with a heavenly sword. Grant all involved, especially this husband and wife and all medical staff, many graces and much wisdom to cope and draw closer to you through every moment, somehow, by some mystery. Bless this couple with many graces for faith, hope, love, and joy, and give them the capacity for empathy, and gentle words toward the other, that they may know that amidst the trials of the cross, the greatest love can flourish. Temper their tongues from all words of discouragement or insult, and lead them always in harmony with your heavenly will. Send angels to help with this cause. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.
 
I sincerely hope you and your family can overcome this ordeal. My thoughts and prayers are with you…take care:o
 
Am praying for you ,your wife and her doctor,that Jesus will enlighten you all ,in ways of healing and spiritual growth .

Dearest Jesus reach into the heart of this man and help him to know the best way to proceed, to reach his wife in her need, and give him strength and courage .:gopray2:

Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon jimthejanitor and his wife in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
