Prayers for young suicides

Please remember in your prayers 17young people girls and boys between 15 and 20, who have committed suicide in a small town in an area near me, in the last 13 months.

The authorities are at their wits end to know why these youngsters, none of them losers or from bad homes did this.

Please pray for them and their grieving families. Please also pray that there will be no more suicides of this nature, and that the last one on Monday, a young girl called Jenna (16) is the last one.

I would also like to ask for prayers that this tragedy will make people realise that suicide and mercy killing, are not always the “cool” and “humane” options that they are frequently shown in the media. Also it is not the easy way out of troubles, no matter how bad they may seem at the time.

I think I saw this on our Sth. Australian news last night and will be keeping these young people and their town in daily prayer…
