Prayers in Ecuador

Hi All:

I’m on vacation in Ecuador, South America. I wanted to say I’m sorry I’m not going to be able to log in to often in the following two weeks.

I wanted to ask you all for prayers for this country which is predominately Catholic but still very poor. Their churches here in Quito are amazing, i have not seen anything like it. I also wanted to ask you all for your prayers for me during my stay here, this the first trip I ever did alone and where pretty much I don’t know anyone except some friends of friends.

I’m praying for you all here on Catholic Forum.

Peace be With you and I will log in more often in two weeks.

Dear Renato, have a wonderful time! You are very adventurous! May God bless every moment of your travel and vacation.
May God’s great mercy be on the people of South America, many of whom are very poor…as you say Renato. I ask God to help you deal with your emotions when you may have to experience the povety of some areas first hand. A priest friend who spent time in India, related that some areas “scarred me for life.”
However we know that where ever you are, you will be praying for them and for us.
May God give you blessings during your journey in Ecuador

Eternal Father, we humbly offer Thee our poor presence, and that of the whole of humanity, from the beginning to the end of the world at all the Masses that ever have or ever will be prayed. We offer Thee all the pains, sufferings, prayers, sacrifices, joys, and relaxations of our lives, in union with those of our Lord Jesus here on earth. May the Most Precious Blood of Christ, all His Blood, Wounds, and Agony save us, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.

Praying for a safe and happy vacation for you. Also praying for the people of Ecuador.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
 
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
