“…may mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance.” (Jude 1:2)

In this month of Ramadan please pray for these intentions:

For Muslims all over the world to experience the light, peace and joy of Christ the Lord and come and join the Body of Christ,in union with Christians around the globe.

Especially pray for Muslims in radical groups to come to Christ and put down arms and to pick up and carry the cross.

For Christians and those who seek Christ living in the Muslim World to overcome the obstacles of living in Muslim dominated societies, protection in and from persecution.

Please pray for seekers to be supplied with Bibles,Christian literature and media to help enlighten, inspire and encounter Christ and the Christian church.

Pray that Christians in the Muslim world that despite their difficulties that they may provide good witness to their Muslim neighbors and be a candle of Christ to them-a light for the world. Please pray for Muslims all over the world to meet with someone filled with the love of Christ.

Pray for Christians especially Muslim Background Believers to hold on to the Christian faith throughout their lives despite their obstacles and to then receive eternal light, life, love and in Heaven with God

From the article of Open Doors about Ramadan and their prayer campaign we should seek to pray for
[SIGN] “During the season of Ramadan we need to lift up in prayer our brothers and sisters in Christ who live in Islamic-dominated nations; strengthening them, empowering them, comforting them and encouraging them. Also, pray for Muslims. There are millions of Muslims who have never experienced real peace and joy in knowing a loving God and having Jesus as their Savior.”[/SIGN]

Please especially pray for light of Christ to reach the Muslim world.

From the excerpt of the article by Open Doors
[SIGN]“My heart is really broken for the millions of Muslims here in Egypt and around the world, who are seeking peace with God this month, trying so hard to do good works in an effort to somehow earn His favor and forgiveness. Although God is so near to those truly calling on His name, it brings tears to my eyes that most of my countrymen do not know that Jesus died and rose from the dead to give them freely, through simple faith, that peace with God they so long to have.”[/SIGN]

The organization is offering a prayer calendar to those willing to sign up and get it.

Excerpt from Article
[SIGN]Each day of Ramadan, Open Doors will urge Christians to pray in one of the names of Jesus while using scripture. Also, there will be prayer information on countries on the Open Doors 2013 World Watch List, which records the worst persecutors of believers.

…Open Doors USA is offering a user-friendly 30-day prayer and reference guide for use during Ramadan. The resource can be downloaded free of charge at www.opendoorsusa.org/ramadan. [/SIGN]

Please join with me and Open Doors in this prayer campaign and after the campaign to continue praying for these people.

*Excuse me for the late post for it is quite well into Ramadan
*Acknowledgements for Open Doors for this article and for opening me up to the world of persecuted Christians.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen

I know it’s currently not Ramadan, but I like praying for all of God’s children.
