Prayers Needed for Danny -- In Hospital, Needs Double Lung Transplant

Greetings.

I received a call today from a friend requesting prayers for her cousin, Danny, who is in the hospital now. He was flown in to the state capital and the doctors have determined he needs a double lung transplant. Danny is married and has a little girl. The grandmother is taking care of the child while the wife……

Please join me in prayer for Danny, his doctors, family…

Prayer for Healing
O God who are the only source of health and healing,
the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe,
grant Annette such a consciousness of your indwelling and surrounding
……presence that Annette may permit you to give her health and strength and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Doctors and Nurses
O merciful Father,
who have wonderfully fashioned man in your own image,
and have made his body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit,
sanctify, we pray you, our doctors and nurses and all those
……whom you have called to study and practice the arts of healing the sick
……and the prevention of disease and pain.
Strengthen them in body and soul, and bless their work,
……that they may give comfort to those for whose salvation your Son became Man,
……lived on this earth,

Oh my. Our Lady of Guadelupe, protector of families, pray for this father and husband that he may receive exactly what he needs, and that he can recover quickly!! Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Danny). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Danny’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear Lord, please intervene in this situation, heal Danny and return him to his family.
 
My own son, Danny, needed a heart and lung transplant. He died 3 weeks after his 24th birthday back in 2009.

My prayers are most certainly with this Danny, his wife, child and family.
May Our Holy Mother, St. Athanasius and all the saints intercede for him, and may the Lord in His Mercy hear our prayers and grant them. Amen.

UPDATE:

Thank you for your prayers! The family appreciates them deeply.

Danny is now in a medically induced coma, has pneumonia, one lung is “dead” the other keeps getting infected. . . . Somehow he keeps waking up from the coma – fighting it? Doctors say he is strong and his b/p is normal. Danny is a good man who tries to help any one he can. Danny is in his mid-30s.

Please join me in prayer for Danny that he has a full and complete recovery from every single thing that ails him and is able to do the EMT work he loves, to walk his little girl (about 5 now) . . . at her wedding. Also pray for his doctors, family . . . and for the lungs donor’s salvation, family…

This is difficult.

UPDATE:

Danny continues in the medically induced coma. I received word today that “the hospital is expecting they can pull Danny out of this.” This is the first ray of hope from the medical people.

Of course, we know Who is pulling Danny out of this. 😉

The family is praying for a miracle because they say they do not want someone else to die so that Danny may live. These are good people.

UPDATE!

Danny is extubated and breathing on his own. My friend does not now know if Danny continues in the medically induced coma.

It is so GREAT to see prayers at work! Thank you for praying for Danny. Please keep it up.
