Prayers needed for mom

My mom recently had a fall where she sustained some facial bruising and broke three ribs.😦 She amazingly has no pain! She is one tough Croatian Catholic! Unrelated to the fall she is experiencing left ankle pain and some swelling. She likes to keep active but she needs to stay off her feet to heal. Please pray that she heal quickly and that she remains patient for that healing to take place! She will soon turn 80 and I pray that God allows her to still be active and well:thumbsup:

God bless your mother and your family.What a marvelous opportunity for your family to really show unitive support and love for each other.Bring your mother round to the fact that this accident is in no way an accident but Providence at work.Perhaps it has pleased God to have your mother be still and rest her body and soul and deeply reflect on her life and her relationship with Him.Now is the time for your beloved mother to take a full assessment of her life and what she has done to fulfill her part of the Divine Plan.This my friend is her time of accidental but providential retreat.If she must step out do take her to the Blessed Sacrament on a quiet day where she can spend significant time with Our Lord.But above all you and your family be there making her meals and giving her no chance to take up housework, and later come together in the Rosary invoking Our Lady and Holy Joseph with Christ as members of your family.I will keep your family in my prayer and all families especially those very lonely aged living alone and the forgotten souls in nursing homes.I was in Croatia and know full well of the tough resilient spirit of the aged .I can never forget seeing them working in the fields during the Communist regime.Do what you can to gently impress upon her the need to accept the Hand of God in this small sacrifice he asks of her.Later you will all see ,that this was one of your better times —one of the golden days of your lives.God bless you.Thanks be to God.

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed his divinity and his genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Thank you to everyone for your prayers! My mother is doing much better!! The swelling in her ankle is much less and we learned that the results from her EEG came back normal. The bruises she sustained from her fall have all but disappeared!
