My friend, Eddy, is going through various health issues and has asked for prayer.

Our Father who art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day
Our Daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
Lead us not into temptation

Prayer for Healing

Lord, I come before you trusting in your mercy and love.
I come before you with faith in your promise that you shall
grant whatever we ask for in prayer if it will be what is best for
our souls. Lord, I ask you to heal Eddy of his health concerns.
Touch him now in the areas of his body that need most of
your healing love.
Let the warmth of your healing love penetrate every cell,
every nerve and tissue in his sick body.
Replace these sick cells with new and healthy cells.
Cast out anything that should not be in him.
Cleanse all infections, remove all inflammations,
open any blocked arteries and veins and rebuild all damaged areas.
Strengthen his body, his mind, his emotions and his spirit.
And with that same power by which you created him, heal him and recreate him, Lord. Restore him to full health in body, mind, emotions and spirit.
Give him the grace to accept this pain and suffering with patient resignation to your most Holy will and plan for his life. Have mercy on him and forgive his sins.
Let him find peace amidst his suffering and offer it for the salvation of souls.
With eyes of faith, let him see the blessings out of this physical sickness.
And after he has been healed, may he be a witness of your healing
love and power and serve you for the rest of his life.
In Jesus’ name I pray, through Mary and all the angels and saints.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Eddy. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Eddy’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
