I need some prayers right now. I am dealing with some side effects from the Humira shots for my Crohn’s. I am expecting some calls from my GI and the drug company RN sometime today. I pray that this is something simple to handle and for my fistula to close up so I won’t need surgery.

I am due for my disability hearing in April so please pray that I get a fair hearing and that the judge will understand that due to my multiple health problems and many meds I take, some of which knock me out completely, he will grant me my request.

I need the money I worked so hard for in 12 yrs. (there were 2 yrs. in which I was fired due to my illness–last job I was written up for a DVT & being hospitalized.funny thing was I worked for the hospital’s ob/gyn dept. &my female boss was nasty to the point of having me in tears for 6 months straight until I could transfer to another dept. where my supervisors were very supportive & understanding. It broke my heart after 4 yrs. when I had to give notice after my 2nd DVT. My health was a priority but they gave me a great exit interview & told me that I could come back at anytime) so I can contribute financially so DH won’t have to put in countless numbers of OT to pay my medical bills.

Praying for all intentions here.

God Bless.

Praying for your intentions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Praying, you will only need meds and that you get the news quickly, also praying for your disabilty to come through soon,I know how horrible the wait can be.I will continue to pray for you daily,

Prayers. I know how hard it is, we have a friend with Crohn’s and my DH has UC. :crossrc:

Praying very hard for you and all sufferers of this horrible disease. My neice, Erin, suffers from it also. She’s in her 20s and it’s been devastating for her. She recently underwent surgery and we are hopeful that it will alleviate her suffering and let her live a more normal life.

:gopray: I have a best friend who has Crohns. He was able to land disability rather easily. I pray the same will be for you. Please realize how strong you are for dealing with what you deal with. Please be encouraged that the Lord is with you through this difficult time. I went through the disability nonsense and it can be a Lot of hassle and nonsense but please remember that the Father is with you every step of the way, guiding and comforting. Even if you fail to get disability on the first go round doesn’t mean you can’t be accepted the second go around. I will pray you get through on the first go round!

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary, mother of God pray for us sinners
now and at the time of our death.

WOW!!! What a response. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

I spoke w/my GI re: the side effects. He thinks it’s a circulatory problem so I have to see my hemotologist now. I am on Lovenox shots 4x week due to my blood clotting disorder (My body throws clots due to a genetic disorder. this is what caused my stroke 2 yrs. ago and another DVT last Aug which landed me on bedrest for 2 whole months & shots every day --can you say OUCH ).

I am black and blue from the Lovenox on my belly and tush, black and blue from the Humira on my thighs above the knee, as well as exhaustion from the pain meds. I have myofascialar pain in my jaw (from the stroke) which causes really bad spasms esp. at night so I have to wear a mouth guard to relieve some pressure. There is no cure for it.

Anyway, in spite of all of this, I am doing my best to stay positive as a good influence for my nieces & nephews (age 1- 10 yrs.) even though I am scared. I just want to be normal for once…if normal even exists.

As for my disability, I was denied the 1st time. Social security stated that I was “CURED” from my Crohn’s and after 6 months fully recovered after my stroke. That is a joke b/c I couldn’t even drive for a full yr and do alot of things. Now I am on restriction w/my car and still in pain from so many things going on. I have an attorney & I was told that my case should be coming up in a few months, God willing. It’s been 2 yrs. already and & I am ready to state my case but fearful of being dragged through the mud & accused of faking seeing as I “don’t look sick”. If only they knew what I go through every day.

Thank you again. Please don’t stop praying. I need all the spiritual support I can to keep me going. God bless everyone.
🙂

Just an update for those praying for me.

I am currently seeing a visiting nurse twice a week for my open wounds. 1 is closing up, the other hasn’t yet. no change in my fistula.

My basset hound was recently diagnosed with diabetes over the weekend. Needless to say, that brought me to tears. Ike is doing ok --he sleeps, eats, plays, finds trouble, etc. but just drinks alot and goes outside alot. He will need insulin injections but I won’t know until I get further test results Monday afternoon. Please pray that nothing else is seriously wrong with him. He is a great companion to me when DH is at work and comforts me when I am sick. He is my 4 legged child w/fur and I will do anything to make sure that he is not in any pain or suffering.

I am praying for all intentions posted here.

God Bless.
