Prayers needed for my illness

I just received notice from my disability attorney that my disability case will be heard on Tuesday, March 11 at 10:30 am.

Please pray that the judge finds in my favor as I can not work due to numerous health issues I have.

Update on my basset hound-- I have noticed an improvement after giving him 2 insulin injections. He didn’t nap at all today and has been more active and getting into trouble.He still has a ways to go but the prayers are definitely working.

May the Lord bless everyone for their spiritual support.

:crying: :crying: I am in desperate need of prayers.

I was dxed Thursday as having peristomal ulcers on my abdomen. One is slowly healing and the other has gotten bigger since early the morning. It won’t stop tearing apart the skin (looks like a fine thread just holding the skin together, it is bleeding, thus causing my appliance to leak. It is very painful and messy to say the least.

I need my ileostomy appliance to stay on for at least 1 full day or so since taking off the wafer is causing skin irritation.

The visiting RN told me that ppl who have autoimmune illnesses like MS, lupus and Crohns are prone to these nasty ulcers. Lucky me. I can’t take this any more. My other health problems are acting up on top of this, esp. my headaches and stomach aches. I need to be on top of things, especially taking care of my basset hound who has diabetes.

I need a miracle right now for things to improve so I can go to my disability hearing w/o any trouble.

My MD cld me today and stated that I have an infection starting in the large ulcer so he wants me to take Cipro 2x day for 7 days.

Please pray that it won’t cause any gastrointestinal upset seeing as most antibiotics do. I am limited to what I can take but in this case he doesn’t want this to get any worse. It already is but we are working together w/the visiting nurses to find a common ground to heal this thing w/o any more complications.

Thank you all for your continued prayers. The ulcers are healing slowly on my abdomen and my 4 legged child w/fur is doing much better (he has diabetes). Ike is back to his sweet self but we still have to monitor his sugar.

I need prayers for my 2 nephews right now. Jimmy and Michael. Both have some sort of viral infection they can’t shake. It’s been a few weeks w/ no improvement just yet.

Also, Tuesday morning is the big day for my disability hearing. Please pray the judge rules in my favor due to my many health problems which have no cure.

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update.

I went for my disability hearing today w/the understanding it may take a few days/weeks for a decision.

I went into court w/my attorney, took the oath, gave my name and address and then my attorney answered a few questions from the judge.

The judge asked why was I approved 6 months only for my stroke & denied for permanent disability the first time b/c it was obvious that I couldn’t drive for a whole yr., was still in OT/PT, and then my Crohn’s, clotting problem, etc. had gotten worse.

Anyway, he stated that he was ready to make a ruling right then and there based upon documents from my doctors &medical records-------- IN MY FAVOR!!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

Miracles do happen. Now I can concentrate on getting my fistula to heal as well as my ulcers.

hi mary, you know the funny thing is a few days ago a very good friend of mine sent me a green scapular with the immaculate heart of mary on it. I wore it under my shirt for strength and protection.

I truly believe it was her divine intervention as well as our Lord’s.

I am so happy for you! The system is broken and I’m sure that your suffering was exacerbated because you had to endure this hardship. God hears the prayers of the righteous…and answers. He sent you a decent judge!

hi diana, my 4 legged child’s name is ike. he’s 10 yrs. old.

Ike needs prayers right now because this morning around 4:45 am he started crashing due to low blood sugar. he was tripping on his feet, body was spasming, and walking side ways.

Needless to say I was scared as I didn’t know what was going on so I cld the ER vet and this wonderful tech told me that he needed sugar or Kayo syrup stat rubbed on his gums to get him out of it. She stayed on the phone with me until he came to.

He is resting comfortably now and I plan to call the vet shortly when they open. Nothing is worse than feeling helpless.

Forgive me, you did mention his name. I am so sorry to hear of his condition, and the anxiety you feel. I too have a dog, “Chevy” and he is so near and dear to my heart. I understand your pain. May God watch over you both. I am praying for you and Ike.
