My son Michael just turned 21 and is on the autistic spectrum. He is in college and wants to be a psychologist. However, he is having some very bad problems this year.

He is failing math for the 3rd time, same math class. He just doesn’t understand it for some reason. It involves a lot of logic, and maybe his brain doesn’t work that way, because he doesn’t have much problems with algebra or straight math like that. It’s making him very depressed and he is always sleeping. He hates the math and wants to avoid doing it because he figures he’s just going to fail again. He is in a community college, and was accepted to the 4 year college he wants, but if he doesn’t pass the math, he can’t go.

Then, I was charging his phone for him, and by accident I hit the camera button. There I saw that he had naked pictures and videos of himself. Some he took at home and some he took in the bathroom at school. I thought I was going to throw up when I saw them. A couple of them I’m not sure if they are him or not. I’m so distraught over this and don’t know what to do. If I confront him, he’s going to go berserk and might get violent. My husband doesn’t seem to think it’s a big deal! I have no other male adults who can talk to him, and I know he’s not going to discuss it with me because he talks very little to me. I don’t think he is sending the pictures or videos to anyone. This weekend when he goes out with is dad, I’m going to check out his computer and ipod and see if there is anything else.

I know he leads a lonely life with his disability, and has no friends that I know of, but he can’t continue what he’s doing. God knows what else is going on that I don’t know about.

Please pray for him to get on the right path with his life and stop doing whatever he is doing. Please pray that he can pass this math class so he can get out of that school if there are bad people encouraging him to do bad things.
