Prayers needed for newborn on death's doorstep

My best friend and his wife welcomed a new baby girl last week. Unfortunately, she was born with several severe heart defects, none of which alone would likely be fatal, but together may prove to much for her to overcome. She was put on ECMO (life support) on Friday to stabilize her following surgery and give her heart time to rest and heal. They tried to start weaning her off of the ECMO this morning, but it did not work. The doctor told them that they would try again to wean her on Thursday, but if it didn’t work that time, that she likely would not be able to successfully come off of it. At this point they pretty much need a miracle, so any prayers you can offer on her behalf would be greatly appreciated. Her name is Louise. Thank you.
 
I’ll remember them for sure in my prayers. You never know. I had 6 children and though I forgot God many times, I always managed to thank Him for their being healthy. 7 years ago , my eldest who was a Cargo Pilot , a former Marine and Flight Instructor , and like every other pilot ,. had a couple of physicals a year was stricken down. I got a call , he and his family lived in California. He was taking his Simulator Training ( once every year in Cincinnati , ) and finished the problem but the instructor said , " Are you alright ? " He wasn’t , and to make it short, turns out he had an AVM . A silent killer. He had a brain operation and survived but chocked on his own blood , weeks later at a rehab facility in California , where his wife brought him , way too soon . And now , only two years ago, my youngest a girl , had Cancer of the Lung and it metathesized to her brain and after 3 terrifying months watching her suffer , down in Florida , she passed away just a few weeks after her 56th Birthday. I was told by others after my Sisters baby died at 5 years old , that there’s nothing more painful than to outlive your child. I Always agreed. Who would have thought that I’d outlive two of them. But It’s all in God’s long plan . And like the wise old timer said : " How can I argue, my arms are too short to box with God…

I feel sad for the young parents, and for the little girl who entered life with so much struggle. I have a heart issue and know how much it affects wellbeing, but in a tiny child…

Dear Jesus please bless Louise and heal her tiny heart, with all necessary care, and with the tenderness of Your own heart.
Please give her parents the joy of their child’s survival and health.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Louise). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Louise’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

St. Gerard, who, like the Savior, loved children so tenderly
and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death,
listen to us who are pleading for the O.P.’ friend’s newborn girl.
We thank God for the great gift of this girl and ask Him
to restore this child to health if such be His holy will. This
healing we beg of You through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
