Prayers needed for prodigal child

My 17 year old daughter has been such a blessing, she is a straight A student has been involved in sports and band. She has dreams and a bright future and is being mislead by a boy she barley knows and he doesn’t believe in God she is led by temptation and is threatening to leave our home when she turns 18 in 3weeks to live with this boy. She understands it is against our faith, she understands she is leaving the opportunity to attend her dream college and is lost and no amount of reasoning is she hearing. My only hope is in God, I am praying feverishly day and night and am asking for yourself too. I am heartbroken. Please help.
 
Praying for her and your family. No words of advice … just aching with a shared pain at the thought of your suffering.

My advice is to remember that the father in the story of the prodigal son never stopped looking for his son’s return. And when his son did return, he rejoiced and welcomed him back with open arms and gave him a place of honor.

Your daughter might make mistakes, and she might come to her senses before she makes any major ones. But, ultimately, this is NOT the end of the world nor the end of her future.

Why can she not attend her “dream college”?

Why is she threatening to leave home? Why does she have a reason to leave your home?
 
@1Ke her college is out of state all her efforts has been to get her to that school. She has scholarships and our support. She has a happy home life and a strong faith. Which makes her decisions so confusing. She will stay behind to be with this boy who is not attending college. Thank you for your prayers.
 
Merciful Father please grant the prayers of this heartbroken mother.
We ask this in Jesus’ name.
Mother Mary please intercede for this young woman that she will live according to God’s loving will for her life.
