Please pray for the sale of our home. We listed our first home over six months ago. Since then we have purchased and moved into a new home but our first home still has not sold despite praying and burying St. Joseph, lots of our own prayers, multiple price decreases, etc. It is very disheartening as we loved our first home and created many wonderful family memories there. We are really unsure what else to do and would greatly appreciate any prayers that you all can give to help us sell our home. God bless. Thank you!!!

Congratulations on your new home!

Burying St. Joseph? Does not sound right to me. I have no intention of being mean, but the “many wonderful family memories” you created there do not convey. Could you rent the house?

Please. Dig up St. Joseph and put him in a place of honor in your home. Pray to him to intercede for you. Burying him is a superstition and should not be done.

St. Joseph, please intercede on behalf of amy, that her house will sell soon. It has been on the market for a while and she asks your help in getting her beloved home sold.

Did you hire a real estate agent? Did you follow her/his advice about fixing/staging your
home? Did you follow her/his advice on the pricing of the home?
Many people try to sell by owner and that can work, but it is a JOB that they take on and
many can’t really do it for many reasons. I was an agent for some years and when I went
to sell, I used a realtor. I made a profit in a slow market. Another home I sold to a friend,
but used a realtor to handle all the paperwork, etc.

What I would do with your home now is take it off the market. (It is shopworn in the view
of many buyers and agents.) Depending on your circumstances, rent it or refurbish it and
relist it with an agent who is active in your area. Then follow the advice.

My cousin didn’t have the heart to bury St. Joseph Instead she made a little garden by
the front door and put St. Joseph in the middle. House sold.

We had an open house yesterday (we do have the house listed with an agent) and there are two families that were very interested with high potential to make an offer. I appreciate any additional prayers that one of these works out and we receive a reasonable offer on our house.

Just a quick update, we have received an offer on our house from a couple that came to our open house yesterday. We are working to finalize it now. THANK YOU for your prayers, and most of all THANK YOU to God! Please continue to pray that this contract gets finalized and the sale goes through. Blessings to all!
