Hello Dear Friends:
My husband died in Jan. '07 - terrible ordeal he went through for over 9 months, but God was preparing him for Salvation.
Our 10 year old son is having great, great, difficulty with all this.
We moved in June to our new apartment, and the “delayed grief” hit then - for both of us.
He’s at the stage of his grief where he “hates God” and is “mad with Him” for “killing Daddy”.
It’s very tough getting through a Mass on the weekend, because this stage, and Satan working with it, is so tremendous that my son gets very “aggitated” (to say the least) during Mass.
I know he has to work through some things, and that once he gets through this, he’ll be a better person, and will have learned a lesson about God and His Mercy. I was pointed in the direction of a group therapy with children who are in the same “boat”… Will be starting that soon, so he can get some new friends that understand what he’s going through.
But, the battle right now is heart wrenching.
Could you PLEASE add little TJ to your prayers, so he will find comfort, peace, and understanding of God’s ways, and for anything I’m forgetting to ask for here.
He’s my only child, and he’s scared to death that God is going to take me away from him too. It’s very sad.
