Prayers Needed for the Return of Lapsed Catholic Friends

A soul very dear to me was raised by parents who fell away from the Catholic Church. While their parents and grandparents and so on were devout Catholics, the Catholicism, and Christianity entirely, was cut at this generation, and I am praying to bring it back, both in the soul that is dear to me, and in his family. May we pray for all lapsed Catholics, that they come home, and all non-believers, that the Lord may soften their hearts so they may come to know Jesus and His church.

Prayer for Conversion of Sinners

Lord Jesus Christ, most merciful Savior of the world,
we humbly beseech You, by Your most Sacred Heart,
that all the sheep who stray from Your fold may one
day be converted to You, the Shepherd and Bishop
of their souls. Amen.

Prayer for Repentance and Conversion

O God, in Your great mercy and love, grant that we may
sincerely and thoroughly repent from all our sins, and
humbly and devoutly receive Your forgiveness through
the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Grant this same grace
to other poor sinners, especially those most in need
of Your mercy. In Jesus’ name, amen.
