Another one bites the dust! I just learned today that one of our RNs has resigned. We have another RN out with back problems who we expect will resign once she has used up all of her benefits in a few months. We cannot post an opening for her job until she DOES resign, so we’ve had this other RN filling in for her. Now SHE has given her resignation. We are STILL waiting for a good candidate for another position so THAT person can move to the position he REALLY wants.

I am praying a 54-day Rosary Novena for DH to find work suitable to his talents that will finally allow me to be a FT SAHM as I have been longing to do for more than 8 years now. It’s stuff like this at work that just makes my cross heavier to carry.

Please pray for my boss who has to deal with all of this constant change and the burden of interviewing and dealing with staff shortages (esp around the holidays). Please pray for the rest of our RNs who are having to bust their fannies to fill the gaps. Please also pray for my DH who will be finishing school in the next month or so. He thinks he needs another year of experience (2 under his belt right now), but I’m praying he’ll find the motivation to start looking anyway.

Our hospital is also under the discernment process, so I will continue to pray that maybe they discern that my job can be regionalized.

Hi JLCecilia,

Prayers said for you and your husband.

May God bless the both of you during this stressful time for you.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Praying for your intentions.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

JL, I am praying for all your intentions, both personal and for your colleagues. May God bless all of you and ease your way. Through Christ Our Lord, amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

:signofcross:

PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

Our Father,
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Please continue to pray for my co-worker who is still out on leave. We had hoped for her to return a few weeks ago, but she started having pain again. Before she can return to work, she has to pass a physical test. If she fails, she cannot retake it for 30 days. If she doesn’t pass it the second time, she cannot return to work, period. I pray that she will get the treatment she needs to relieve her pain.

Please continue to pray for me. I had a conference call the other day to follow up on some training I had a few weeks ago and I still have been unable to get to this task to even try it. It’s one of those things, you can only gain the skill by trying/doing it. I am so swamped, I find it hard to stay motivated and just feel like a failure all the time. This is a normal feeling for me, but after this call, I was so overwhelmed, I went home and cried. I feel like the Lord isn’t just going to cut me loose of this job to stay at home, he just wants me to be faithful at what I’m doing now. And I don’t want to be, every day I come to work, I hate it. I know that I am the carpenter of my own cross. I know that our family cannot afford any other option right now than for me to go to work, and I must come to accept that.

Please continue to pray for my DH to find a better paying job that will allow me to fulfill my desires to be a FT SAHM.

Pray for my GF who interviewed for a job last week for teaching. She would be PERFECT for this position. Just waiting for background checks to go through.

Please continue to pray for JL who is still looking for work. She lost her job a few weeks ago.
