I haven’t been on here in a while. I always appreciate the support and advice I get from all of you. Thank you 🙂 I was diagnosed last Friday with the beginning stage of endometrial cancer. The medical name is “complex hyperplasia with atypia”. The pathology report also saw a few area that might already be stage 1 cancer. I’m scheduled to see a GYN Oncologist in 2 weeks to discuss treatment (hysterectomy) and get my questions answered. Hysterectomy is the recommended course of treatment and if it hasn’t spread, I wont need further treatments and I should be cured? I am hopeful the surgery isn’t too far off from now.

I’m sorry for all that you are going through! How awful! 😦

I recently had a total hysterectomy/oophorectomy for severe reoccurring stage 3/4 Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. I thankfully did not have cancer, and cannot begin to imagine how scary that must be or how awful it may feel. I cannot comment on chemotherapy, but if you have any questions or concerns about the hysterectomy feel free to send me a private message.

Prayers offered for a successful surgery, complete healing, comfort and your peace of mind as you process the information that gets thrown at you rather quickly in these circumstances. :eek:
