My family is in need of prayers. Many prayers. My mom was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 2015. She grows weaker by the day. She was so full of life. We actually found out she had this while my dad was recovering from a quadruple bypass surgery. It’s been a devastating blow. All of our faith has been truly tested.
My brother and his wife are also going through a rough time. She wants a separation, and feels like she only loves him as a friend right now. She doesn’t want to consider counseling at this point. She wants space and for him to move out.

We need all the love, prayers, and support possible. Please help.
 
I am about to say the Rosary for all the prayer intentions I have tagged on CAF today. I am adding your intentions to the list. May God Bless you and your family. May Jesus, Mary and Joseph help and strengthen you all and may Jesus have mercy on you and Mary and Joseph pray for you.

Lord, You know all things. Mom is succumbing to a brain tumor. Dad is recovering from quadruple bypass surgery. Marital problems surround the brother.Our faith knows,You are there w each child of Yours. Ecclesiastes. 3:1-9. “There is a time for everything under God’s heaven. There is a time to be born and a time to die. There is a time to laugh and a time to cry…”
We, ask that all, can feel your love! That is a constant.
We ask You to send Your grace, which is our sufficiency. We pray for your wisdom to know what prayers we should pray. What is Your will here. We will all die,as we have corruptible bodies. Our trials come as learning tools to assess our relationship w You. FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS
UNSEEN… We chose to see a healed and
strengthened Dad. We chose to see a healed Mom.
The brother will remember Ephesians 5 or 6. “The husband will love the wife as Christ loved the church, even to lay his life down for her as Christ did for the church.” In Genesis it says"the wife will desire the husband" and at the end of Ephesians( same chapter) it says," the wife will respect the husband."
Saying,“What can I do for you, dear?”, everyday is exhausting! If her needs,emotional and physical, were met, she would respect and desire husband
It never says in scripture that a wife is to love her husband. Lord, that is curious! Except maybe, knowing your creation, You know a man needs respect. With his testosterone moving around, he’ll need his wife desiring him. Wives are needy. We will take their souls. I’m joking here, God. Of course, if her needs are met by husband, she does love him.
Little steps, in healing of mind, soul and body. Pictures of happy times around Mom and Dad. Spouses sharing memory moments from albumns.
Small kindnesses of flowers and sunshine. Small walks or wheel chair rides, can be balm to a hurting soul. Live the life, we have, looking up to You, Lord.
Build our Faith w scripture verses to drive out any evil. Help us to put on our whole armour of God! See Ephesians 4 or 5. Give them church songs to soothe and encourage them. “BE NOT AFRAID, I GO BEFORE YOU ALWAYS.”" I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU MY CHILDREN. I HAVE CARVED YOU IN THE PALM OF MY HANDS. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ORPHANED. I WILL NEVER FORGET MY OWN" In ISAIAH 40?
You have given us tools to survive some journeys we must take. "By Your stripes, they are all healed."Isaiah 54. Strengthen our faith, Lord. We humble ourselves before Your throne broken and weary. All my confusion, you understood. All we had to offer You is broken and strife. But, You made something beautiful out of our lives.( words to a song ).

Prayer To St. Aloysius Gonzaga

Dear St. Aloysius Gonzaga, you are the patron saint of youth because you died so young and in such a state of holiness. You are best known for your virtues of purity and repentance. Please intercede for all adolescents today who are growing up in a culture that discourages those very virtues. You were fortunate to have two Saints as your spiritual directors: St. Charles Borromeo and St. Robert Bellarmine. Pray that our young people may find role models in the Church that they can look up to and strive to emulate, just as their mentors strive to emulate Jesus.
Because of your kindness and compassion St. Aloysius, I also ask you to intercede on the behalf of all those who have posted intentions today, and for people who have asked for my prayers. Pray that we may all be as zealous for God’s glory and as charitable to our neighbor as you were, even to the point of risking our lives for them. Pray that we may all see you in the Kingdom to come and be able to thank you face to face. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Scienceteach82’ Mother). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Scienceteach82’ Mother’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Scienceteach82’ Mother, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Scienceteach82’ brother and his wife), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.
