Prayers needed urgently

In this past week, several close friends and neighbors have been fighting for their lives in ICU units around my city.

Please pray for Joe, age 60 pending dialysis after critical condition
Pray for Adria, age 59, on dialysis after complications of routine surgery
Pray for Connie, age 60, congestive heart failure, new pacemaker surgery this week,
Pray for Sharon, age 51, diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease with rapid onset of symptoms.
Pray for Barb, age 59, complications after routine Gallbladder surgery, now has an ileostomy with a non-healing ulcer. All are parents, and they desperately need our help in their struggle to survive. Please comfort their families with your prayers as well.

O great St. Peregrine, thou hast been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder Worker” because of the numerous miracles which thou didst obtaine from God for those who have turned to thee in their need. For so many years, thou bore in thy own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being. You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and thou didst become favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal thy affliction. I now ask God to heal these sick persons whom I entrust to thee: Joe, Adria, Connie, Sharon, and Barb. Aided by thy powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude to God for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Prayer for Healing
O God who are the only source of health and healing, the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe, grant to all these people such a consciousness of your indwelling and surrounding presence that they may permit you to give them health and strength and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
