A good Catholic man at my church is in need of prayers. He is a high ranking Knight of Columbus. And a very good family man. He recruited me to join the Knights of Columbus. My wife and I ate all but one Friday night dinners at the church with him and his wife during Lent. I missed seeing him at church Easter Sunday. I wondered about that all week, but never got around to calling him. Yesterday I went to confession and mass. In the Bulletin were prayer intentions for him. I got very troubled. Today at Divine Mercy Sunday Mass I saw his wife alone. I spoke to her after mass. She said his intestines burst open causing all kinds of major problems. The doctors didn’t give him much of a chance. But he’s making it and getting better a little at a time. This good man could use some prayer. I know he would do the same for each and every one of us. His name is Voyed.

Mother Mary, please make your intentions in this matter come true. Amen.
 
God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from the darkness,
I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal him.
You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by speaking a simple command,
you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from the dead.
I ask you to send forth Your healing power into his body and give him the strength to fight this illness.
I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Holy Saint Joan, compassionate to the sick and wounded,
who, while on earth, nursed so many back to health, hear me.

I called the church asking about Voyed. He is still in ICU in very guarded condition. He is aware, and responds, but he is very ill.
