Prayers of the Faithful - Spoken or Sung?

On Sundays at my parish, the petitions are spoken but the response is always sung.

What usually happens on Sundays at your parish?

Monastery in my case. All sung on Sundays and important feasts, all spoken on ordinary weekdays and memorials.

Spoken. I’ve always liked them sung, but the priests that I have worked for have all expressed that singing it made that portion of the Mass unnecessarily long.
I think in all the years I have played, I’ve only had them sung once.

Oh, in our parish they are spoken. The only times they’ve been chanted was during Evening Prayer.
