I would greatly appreciate prayers as I am dealing with severe anxiety and am having a difficult time praying for myself since I am so anxious.

I am going back to school after my semester break and am so anxious about it. I am worried about not being able to handle the demands of classes but more worried about being so lonely after being with my family. I do not have a roommate and live in a hall with all guys except for my RA as I have a physical disability and need to have a ground floor room with a bathroom. I only get to see my friends when we happen to eat meals at the same time and when I attend my two church groups and go to church on Sundays. I did fine last semester but am really worried I won’t be able to handle all my alone time.

I am so anxious that I get worried when my parents have minor disagreements or get annoyed with one another even my mom assures me they are ok and it’s just the way it’s been between them for a while. I think I’m more sensitive to it now that I am not home all of the time and am not “used to it.”

I am trying to leave everything in God’s hands but feel like the anxiety is not getting better, it seems to be getting worse. I have been on medication for anxiety/depression for 3 years but I haven’t felt this bad for quite a while.

Thank you and God Bless,
Becca

Holy Mother Mary please embrace our friend Becca with your love and compassion. Please ease her anxiety. May the angels comfort her and help her to find peace

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Remembering you in my prayers. 🙂

Jesus is with you. He is bigger than of all of this; your anxiety, your fears, your depression. And He has not left you to handle it on your own. Keep calling on Him. +

I have anxiety as well…
I will keep you in my prayers!:hug1:
You aren’t alone: Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.- 1 Peter 5:17 (:

I will pray for you and all people with anxiety as I know what it’s like and it’s a heavy cross to bear especially when it’s intense.

Here is a link to a group I started that you might like: BE NOT AFRAID: forums.catholic-questions.org/group.php?groupid=757

Lots of supportive people there who are going through similar things. Take care. :blessyou:

Becca,

I will pray for you. I know all too well how you feel, I have been suffering from the same condition for almost 4 years. Some days are better than others. My anxiety has been greatly diminished since I consecrated myself to Jesus through Mary. (The method recommended by St. Louis de Montfort.) I would highly recommend this and read “True devotion to Mary” by St. Louis de Montfort. There are 33 days of preparation and I would say all of the prep prayers with all of the devotion and heart you can pour in it. You will be so blessed beyond belief. The preparation prayers are very powerful. I would recommend praying the litany to the Holy Spirit now. Ask him to enter your heart and ask him to take this suffering from you. I will keep you in my prayer intentions when I pray my rosary tonight. I would also recommend praying the rosary if you can–it is very powerful.

Peace and Blessings,

PATER NOSTER,
qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

Thank you for your prayers!!! Know that I am so grateful.

I don’t wish to start another thread as I don’t wish to post too much, but could you also pray that my parents’ marriage be strengthened and there is more patience and understanding between them. It’s not bad by any means but they are so stressed with their jobs and with life that they take it out on each other. I don’t know why but this is causing the majority of my anxiety.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Prayers for you Becca and for your parents.I too have suffered with anxiety/panic attacks so I understand the difficulties you face.May God bless you
