Our Uncle Glen Griffin is in need of prayer… it seems he suffered a stroke on Sunday but has not actually stablized. He seems to be lucid and then the next minute he thinks he is in the woods squirrel hunting. Please pray that he will stablize and recover his memories. He is a dear, kind, generous man who has been a protestant pastor of a tiny little country church for 40 years. Honestly he defintely has shown forth the love of Christ in his ministry and in his daily life. He has been like a Dad to our family since both my husband’s and my fathers have passed on. We thank you for your prayers for our beloved Uncle Glen.

Also please pray for dh’s cousin Rick Griffin. Rick had a liver and kidney transplant 7 weeks ago today. He is still not improving. He had a heart attack, infection, they put him back on dialysis to ease the strain on his heart although the new kidney is fine, and he is still on oxygen with a trach tube in his throat. He really hasn’t improved and we are all very concerned. His elderly parents and his wife have been there with him all this time and I know they need prayers too. Galeisa Griffin his wife, Janie and Clifton Griffin his parents have stayed by his side and have not even been home since they are 5 hours away from their homes. Please pray for all of them and for Rick’s spiritual health also.

God bless and thank you so much!

I pray for the recovery of these men dear Father in Heaven that they may recover. I pray also for their families. Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be and the Fatima Prayer.

Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servants Glen and Rick
for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
they may give thanks to You in Your Church.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Blessed Mother Mary we pray for Helen’s intentions.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O God who are the only source of health and healing, the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe, grant Glen and Rick such a consciousness of your indwelling and surrounding presence that they may permit you to give them health and strength and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
