Prayers Please...I'm Scared

Please pray for me and help me get through this next journey of life. I’m praying for acceptance and peace of mind. Honestly, I’m still praying for a miracle but I’m sure that die has been cast.

I was told, back in January, that I cirrhosis of the liver due to fatty liver. I just, recently, got to see the liver specialist who confirmed that. I was asking her questions and searching for hope. She never gave me any false hope but would say that some with cirrhosis could possibly live quite awhile longer but the majority doesn’t. In reference to transplants she said that the majority of people on the list never get to the point of having a transplant and those that do are those in the best health possible so there’s greater chance the new liver will help them. And with me still looking for hope, she said that what she will tell me is to live everyday like it’s my last day. Live for that day and don’t worry about tomorrow. None of us are promised a new day. Please pray for me and thank you.

I’m praying for you. May God heal you and give you strength and courage.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Dear Mary. You have my prayers. Don’t give up. There is always hope. Don’t go down without a whimper. Pray, yes. The liver has regenerative powers. Go on a diet, if possible… Don’t drink or smoke. I don’t know what you are able to do, but be as active as you can be. Speak to your Dr. about this. Cut fats, starches, carbs, and sugars if you can. Again, speak to your Dr. Pray hard, but with acceptance of what the Lord determines for you. Miracles happen each and every day-we just don’t ‘see’ them. Yes, I get long-winded at times, but I am also fighting health issues-and I think I am making a lot of progress. As we are not supposed to give medical advice here, please accept it as good advice and good will .So…I will pray hard for you. Peace:thumbsup:👍👍

I’m going to pray for you, Mary. AND I was glad to see someone had some positive recommendations for you to try and not give up… I liked that… Hope you did, too!
