OP here. Thank you all for your continued prayers. I am still job hunting and praying for wisdom to discern where the Lord is leading me. I’ve had a few interviews and am hoping to hear back from one. The job would be very challenging and I have some misgivings but I’m praying it will only be offered if it’s God’s will for me.
My daughter was evaluated by the county Infants and Toddlers program and, while no autism diagnosis has been given (too early to tell), she is behind in her social skills and some fine motor skills. They recommended I take her to play groups and have her re-evaluated in 3-6 months. Fortunately, she is very verbal (tested many months ahead for expressive language) so I am encouraged by that. As I wait on the Lord for a job, I’m just trying to enjoy this time with my daughter.
I’m praying for all those who have lifted us up in prayer, for those touched by autism and for those seeking employment.
