Please pray that I will not lose my new job due to having to call in sick (quite legitimately…I have to see a Doctor this morning). It is retail grocery and I regret that it will be a hardship for them on Christmas Eve. My boss was not happy. I am a responsible and good employee. I take my job seriously even though I am largely underemployed. I am worried about it and not happy about the way the boss treated me. So if you could please pray that the business will be as unaffected by my absence as possible, that the boss might think about how she could have handled the situation better rather than reprimand a sick employee for something that couldn’t be helped, and that I get better as soon as possible. Also that there be peace among my boss, other employees and myself for the situation, especially on a day that is to be joyful. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all. You are in my prayers.

Today’s rosary will be for your boss to understand that you wouldn’t be calling in unless you were really sick and for you to feel better:o:)

I shall pray too that your boss will be understanding.

The old saying is that one never calls in sick on Christmas eve no matter what as the bosses will always be suspicious.
In your case it is genuine, may your boss know this.

Good luck!

God bless you

Graham

PATER NOSTER,
qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

Thank you all so much and God Bless. The Doctor wrote me out of work until Sunday so maybe that will help. I know that there are far worse things, but the last thing I would want is to put my coworkers in that kind of bind. I was actually looking forward to working today to share the spirit of the day with our customers so I missed out, too. After not working for four years due to illness and the job market, I am so grateful for this job and do not want to do anything to jeopardize it.

Saint Joseph, holy patron of workers, please pray for Diem that they would not lose their job but that they would prosper in it and remain in employment. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
