The past couple weeks I’ve been dealing with an increased amount of stress, which has resulted in an increasing number of sleepless nights. I’ve also had really bad headaches that have lasted for days straight along with other physical discomforts that are all tied in with the stress I’m sure. There are other problems too, but I’ll spare everyone the full list. If you could please say a prayer for me asking God to bring some calm into my life soon I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you and God bless.

Psalm 107:20-21
He sent forth His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from
their distresses. Let them thank the Lord for His steadfast love, for
His wonderful works to the sons of men!

Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say rejoice. Let all men
know your forbearance. The Lord is at hand. Have no anxiety
about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
And the Peace of God, which passes all understanding, will
keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

God, jtodisco feels lost and overwhelmed. The world seems
out of control, full of evil. Life is becoming a nightmare.
Please help him/her remember that You made this world and
declared it good. Give him/her the comfort of Your presence and
the confidence to trust You even when nothing seems to
change. Calm his/her mind, bring peace to his/her heart and
strengthen his/her spirit to carry on in the midst of of all his/her
troubles. Lay a path for him/her, and help him/her follow Your way
as he/she moves forward. Through Christ or Lord.
Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (jtodisco), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Hi jto,

Prayers said for you. Prayers also said to St. Anthony, that you may find peace of mind.

God bless you during this stressful time, and I hope that you feel better soon.

Thank you all for your kind and generous prayers. My stress level went down quite a bit today, but this evening I had some pain that was sudden and somewhat worrisome. I think it’s the result of the stress I’ve been under the past few weeks so I’m going to try not to worry about it for now. But if it happens again I’ll start to get really worried.
