Please pray for a woman on our parish staff who has developed an unhealthy obsession with our pastor… Her husband has left her largely. and she has risen to a postion of power that hurts many. Please pray that our good pastor and others will recognize it when she is manipulating him. So many people have been hurt. This woman is very smart and works long hours , but she seems to want to be more mportant than others and she steps on people to get what she wants. The pastor is overwhlemed with work and mostly hears her side of things. People have complained about her to him and he tells her to try and clear the air, but than she calls them into her office and it gets ugly so no one wants to sat anthing to him anymore. He says she is very smart and thinks just like him intellectually, understand each other. This pastor has been a good friend of my family for many years but hehas distanced himself , from us, at first because this woman was jealous, but now, I think because we have spoken to him of the problem. He says there are things we do not understand that make her behave that way and we need to accept and love as Jesus did. I am trying, but even though Jesus loved everyone he did not tolerate hypocrisy or manipulation, Please pray that if our pastor is being decived Jesus will show him,. Pray for this woman too, She seems so lonely and has alientaed so many who really cared about her

Praying for all parties involved here, and most especially for the special shepherd, your pastor, that he may remain true to his parish and his vows. I pray as well for your parish as a whole. The situation can’t be good for the big picture if it isn’t good on a staff level.

Heavenly Father, may Your will be done and may all KNOW Your will.
