Prayer for a Safe Delivery

O great Saint Gerard, beloved servant of Jesus Christ, perfect imitator of your meek and humble Savior, and devoted child of the Mother of God, enkindle within my heart one spark of that heavenly fire of charity which glowed in your heart and made you an angel of love. O glorious Saint Gerard, because when falsely accused of crime, you did bear, like your Divine Master, without murmur or complaint, the calumnies of wicked men, you have been raised up by God as the patron and protector of expectant mothers. Preserve **4lilbits ** from danger and from the excessive pains accompanying childbirth, and shield the child which she now carries, that it may see the light of day and receive the purifying and life-giving waters of baptism through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I asked for prayers a few weeks ago, but would like to ask again. We lost our daughter 5 months ago a few days before her due date. I almost died delivering her. I am currently 12 weeks pregnant and am having problems right now. My doctor is concerned about miscarriage. Losing another child is never easy, but losing one so soon after losing our daughter so traumatically will be devastating right now. please pray that the lab will get the results quickly so they can start treating me properly. and please also pray for me to trust better than i have been. I feel like I am not safe from bad things happening since the worst thing did happen to me. I am in a very dark place right now. Thank you

I just prayed for you and I will remember you in my prayers. My husband and I were never able to conceive a child. Difficulties having a child is heartbreaking. I will pray God’s holy will be done in your life.
 
I will keep you, your baby, and your family in my prayers. I can’t imagine the worry you must be going through right now.

to protect me from the dangers of childbearing
and to watch over the child
with which You blessed me.

by the saving water of baptism and,

My favorite act of hope for you is below… I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child at term. I’m pregnant now myself and I prayed hard for the intercession of St. Gianna for you and your baby now.

For Your mercies’ sake, O Lord my God,
tell me what You are to me.
Say to my soul: “I am your salvation.”
So speak that I may hear, O Lord;
my heart is listening;
open it that it may hear You,
and say to my soul: “I am your salvation.”
After hearing this word,
may I come in haste to take hold of you.
Hide not Your face from me.
Let me see Your face even if I die,
lest I die with longing to see it.
The house of my soul is too small to receive You;
let it be enlarged by You.

God bless you, I am so sorry this is happening to you… You will be in my rosary intentions tonight and I will say prayers for you now too. Praying for you and your baby, and your baby in heaven. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
