I’m getting the opportunity to apply for the FBI honors internship program! It begins this summer, and if selected, I will get the chance to work alongside special agents in investigations. I’d either be sent to Washington D.C. or Quantico, VA, and I would be away for approximately ten weeks.
This is my DREAM. I cannot even begin to describe how important this is for me; my goal has always been to work for the FBI in counterterrorism, and this internship would be a foot in the door. I want this so badly - I have a 3.95 average, I have some really amazing references (one being a former FBI agent!), and I feel like I have a great chance of getting in! But of course, I don’t want to get my hopes up only for them to be dashed. So please, please, if you think of it, I ask for your prayers.
