I don’t want to get into a lot of detail, but suffice to say, we are moving out of our home because the homeowner is going into foreclosure (we recently moved last year to FL) and the realtor who represents him is…ugh, just not a nice man. Not honest. He actually caused a lot of financial pain for the homeowner–and the homeowner is just numb from it all, he said. This realtor wants to show the house, and one day, tells us he’ll give us 24 hrs notice, the next day, he tells us he never said that and that he has someone to see the home. When the house first started going into the foreclosure/short sale proceedings, we stated that we wanted to bid on it (hello, you would think a realtor would jump at this seeing there are people residing there already?) Instead, he said ‘oh the house is going up for sale to see how many people we get who are interested to see the fair market value.’ And the topper–that HE wanted to bid on it.
How do you like that? He sold the guy the house, and now the poor guy is going into foreclosure, and now he wants to make commission on it AGAIN. Unreal. Then, we made other arrangements to move out, and he listed the house for what we said we would bid at. He just is not a decent businessman. I rarely dislike people in this world, but he is up there. And, the neighbors feel the same way about him…a few have their homes up for sale, and they said he would be the last person they would have represent them. He is not one to trust, they say. So, it’s not in our heads, nothing personal. He just is in need of prayers–I pray he will develop a relationship with Christ, because the way he treats people in the neighborhood is far from Christ-like. Especially now that he found out we went out on our own and found a townhome, he was surprised…‘why didn’t you call me?’ Hmm…let me think about that.
Please pray that my husband and I stay calm in dealing with this inidividual. I was calm earlier, but I think it’s God shining through, not me.
Your prayers are greatly aprpeciated.
