I have been struggling financially and also relationshipwise for sometime now. I have decided to supplement my academic income with a small side business in copywriting that I intend to start next month, after finishing the training that I am now taking. I have been very sad in my life for a while which as I indicated in another thread on another subforum also has had serious effects on my faith. Nonetheless, this year I decided to change my life. Essentially, to chose happiness now rather than wait for all the things I have wanted but did not come to happen, like a spouse.
This new attempt at a new career, hopefully may become full time if I am successful, is among my resolutions, along with a rekindling of my faith. The other is to start the things I have been wanting to do and let life take its course rather than live with regret or live pining for other things that are not in my grasp at the moment or within my control anyway. For example, to attempt to do the writing I have been meaning to do for over 15 years now. (besides the copywriting). The fourth is to travel. The fifth (but not least) is to give more generously to my family and others who find their way to me for help. I have always given but not in the proportions I have always wanted to, partly because of my chaotic financial situation and also my fear of not having savings and other things.
I just wanted to share these with someone but also to ask for prayers. I know these are not as serious as other requests, but I do ask for the prayers nonetheless.
God bless you.
