Prayers requested for my newborn grandson

I am requesting prayers for my new born grandson, baby Jack. My daughter gave birth last night after a long labor. He was hypoxic, and has been in NICU since last night. He may be there for a while. He is stable now, but there are many risks in the days ahead. My daughter’s first child. She and her husband are distraught. They cannot hold him yet. My daughter is also not a Catholic, and has been somewhat “skeptically” of my own faith. I came into the Church in 2010, as well as my 4 younger children. However, my oldest daughter was always critical…I am having a difficult time seeing her suffer so much now. I love her and she knows I pray for her …I do not think she beleives there is much power in prayer. I’m hoping for some blessings to come from this.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Jack). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Jack’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Today’s rosary and Devotion to the Infant of Prague went out for all of the people and their petitions here on the Catholic Answers Board. That includes you.

May the Peace of the Risen Lord be upon you and your daughter and grandchild. Hopefully Our Lord will reveal His power to her through this trial.
