Hi All,
I’m still here but have been on holiday. Prayers are still needed for me to become a reader at my local Parish.
Yesterday, after morning mass, one of my friends in Church suppported me in telling the Priest that I don’t have a problem with getting to and from the lectern as they had witnessed me in doing it.
Originally, I was informed that it was the steps to the Lectern that was cause for concern but now the Priest is saying it is because I am still new. This goes against the notices asking for new readers, as in the notices , it said that all new members of the Church will be welcome to serve as a reader. I have also heard from other friends who have wrote to the Priest who have been told that Parish is an encouraging community. The Priest hasn’t been encouraging to me. 90% of the congregation would like me to serve as a reader.
I also get dreams about Serving as a Reader.
Please pray that I will become a reader. Thank you.
