God bless you and your daughter. So many of us are popping off about a subject we know only theoretically, but you speak out of a deep and heartbreaking experience. Praying for you, and definitely for your daughter.Listen up folks, my own daughter claims to be “trans,” a false ideology to the core, and because of that, I’ve sadly had to familiarize myself with a lot of related data.

Thank you for sharing friend. It is precisely this reason I asked this question at all. I pray for you and your family, and your daughter, I think experirnce is the best example here and we should all take a step back and really listen to what you have just told us . Some people will prefer to just Wade in with their opinion but thankfully there are many of us with a perspective of “sense” and you just hit the nail on the head.

Acting on homosexual attractions is sinful. Just like sex outside of marriage is sinful for heterosexuals.

I’d recommend reading Roman’s chapter 1 as well. Wt Paul was pretty clear about these behaviors, and how GOD gave them up because of those behaviors.
The current trends of American “gender ideology” sicken and anger me. Terms such as “gender fluid?” Really?
Gender is binary.
Misusing one’s body solely for one’s own pleasure is sinful per God, Scripture and Tradition.
It is peoples’ own ridiculous excuses to justify doing what makes them feel good physically, this notion of “If it feels good then do it,” that I suspect is not only responsible for the butchering of bodies of children claiming, at quite young ages, to be the opposite gender, but also for the destruction of many marriages, those being by definition, between 1 man + 1 woman.
“For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife.” ~ Genesis somewhere in 1st 4 chapters
Prov 18:22. “Whoso findeth a wife finds a good thing, and obtains the favor of the Lord.”
I can readily and confidently assure anyone who asks that, those Scriptures refer to male+female couples.
Nowhere in the Bible is anyone encouraged to find a same sex partner to obtain Gods favor, and I’d not be surprised if the Sanhedrin punished such by stoning.
That’s not to say I think the lavendar crowd should be stoned, but there are zillions of so called churches little “c”, where this is accepted. Shame on them.
God help me and may God help my poor confused daughter, it’s not ok, natural, or normal. I love my child but I will never tell her that craziness is ok.
As the One True Holy & Apostolic, we must be bastion against such.
Lastly, if anyone is unclear as to how I see things, I’d simply ask them:
“You know what happened to Sodom & Gomorrah and why?”

We should pray that all people, regardless of their background, might have a deeper conversion of heart and might strive for personal holiness, not giving into their sinful inclinations, and seeking the purity of heart that Our Lord called us to in His Sermon on the Mount. We must love people who experience homosexual inclinations and must encourage them, like we encourage all our brothers and sisters, to pursue holiness of life according to the commands of the Gospel.

Do you think for 1 second I dont pray for my baby girl, after those “long speeches?”I thought this was a thread about how to pray for people, not a thread to make long speeches about how sinful they are.

What I’ve stated in this thread is truth, not opinion, and is against no person or group. It is against false, sinful ideologies. Those that took my baby girl from ribbons and bows in primary school, to “lesbian” in early high school, to “trans” later, and about 6 months ago having an elective double mastectomy.
It’s quite clear to me that only God can help my child, His child, my daughter, so to maintain my own sanity I had to give this to Him years ago. I pray for her and all in such categories to see the way, the truth, and the life that is Our Lord Jesus Christ.
May they realize their errors and come to Him, each of them, and have the fruitful lives He created them to have.
