Times are hard for me, very hard. Not money hard, because like most people, times are just hard all around. But, I need prayers & thoughts because it has been about 3 years since i have seen my daughter, i miss her greatly. my ex wife and I just had a nasty divorce and even though i try as hard as i can to keep up with my responsibilities ( child support,Sending cards, gifts etc.) I still never get to see her or talk to her. The problem being is that I am on SSDI (disability) for a bit. I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and terrible anxiety…blah blah. It keeps me from working, and we all know that SSDI pays so little. I don’t care about myself getting any sort of money to have fun. It’s just that i live so far from my child that after i pay rent, support etc. I cannot afford to save and see her, or move. I was hoping that you could pray for me, keep me in your thoughts. I am just real sad and I keep fighting best I can.
I take long hikes, spend time in the woods in meditation etc. I write a lot, basically keep busy, but sometimes the pain gets to be too much that I fall into a lot of depression. I try to keep busy so i wont drink ( im not a drunk…i just don’t like drinking when i am depressed). I sometimes wonder why god keeps me in the fighting position?
I had a terrible life growing up, i kept fighting, but i wonder will i have at least one year in my life where my heart feels good?

Thank You for your prayers!

Frank I’m sad about your hurt and your difficulties.
I ask God to keep you in my prayers.

Do you have any contact with her at all? Cards, letters, email, phone? Are you in subsidized housing?

i get a letter a few times a year, but not much else. According to my ex mother in law she gets the gifts and knows they are from me…No I am not in that kind of housing. I have an apartment that I rent with someone. I am not trying to complain about money. What i am asking for is prayers because times are hard money wise and i am hoping it does not keep me from my child. There’s nothing a lawyer can do, because i cannot afford one, nor can i get a free one. I am just at the mercy of my ex wife and ex inlaws…hoping prayers can just lift a little of the depression so i can have the strength to keep fighting.

I am in that kind of housing. I’m disabled, too. I only asked because I thought it would help you save money so you could see her sometimes. I didn’t think you were complaining, I just thought it was a fact of life. I’m really glad she gets your gifts and cards and knows they are from you. In future, as she grows up, this will be very important to her.

God bless you abundantly, Frank, and your continued efforts to be the best father you can be.
