The news grows sicker every day as we see this bloodthirsty batch of pagans, known as the “Islamic State”, killing children and women, forcing out anyone who doesn’t agree with them, and destroying lives with every step.

Lord God, You alone have authority over all creation. We know you to be Good, indeed Goodness itself, and yet we see such terrible evil. We believe in Your Victory, but we ask Your Intercession now. On behalf of the Kurds, the Yazidis, the Christians, and all who fear death by the sword of Jihad, I pray You rescue them. The Islamic State are a terrible evil, a demon walking the earth to devour souls; only an Angel of the Lord is strong enough to defeat such evil. I pray, Lord God, Our Help and Our Hope, that You send your angels to defeat ISIS, save Your people, and finally bring peace to Iraq and Syria.

I lift up in prayer every child who hungers, every mother whose children are sick or thirsty, every man who fears for his family, every person who fears for their lives. Please Lord, protect these, protect them all. Amen

Praying for an end to these atrocities…especially for the victims shown today in the news…the children who have been savagely killed.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Eternal Father, we humbly offer Thee our poor presence, and that of the whole of humanity, from the beginning to the end of the world at all the Masses that ever have or ever will be prayed. We offer Thee all the pains, sufferings, prayers, sacrifices, joys, and relaxations of our lives, in union with those of our Lord Jesus here on earth. May the Most Precious Blood of Christ, all His Blood, Wounds, and Agony save us, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.
