Prayers to end my depression

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

I think i have been in a state of depression for a few months now. school has been extremely rough on me and teachers have been so mean to me. Ive gained weight back and i hate the way i look. I didn’t get accepted into a college i thought i would. I am in a relationship but i don’t think i will ever be able to fall in love with him because i am still in love with my ex. and now, with the virus going on, all of the events i was looking forward to have been canceled. it hurts because it is my senior year of high school. i just hate how my life is going right now and i never have any motivation to do anything. it is like all i want to do is sleep. i wish for this to end.

You’re in my thoughts and intentions. I hope you lose weight, find true love, and contentment in life, etc. As someone who has experienced years of depression I can definitely say that the mind is the first obstacle to overcome. It is the biggest obstacle. Have faith in God but also in yourself. Never lose hope. And also… determination, that’s a big thing. As long as you are determined to advance in life (and that can be in very minor ways - it still has a big impact) you will make visible as well as invisible progress. I sure have. I would not have recognized me 5 years ago. And yet here I am.
