Dear Friends in Christ:
in the spirit of the forum rules, please don’t give me any
advice, just prayers that I can enrich my prayer life.
God bless you all.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit,
fill my heart with Your holy gifts.

Let my weakness be penetrated with Your strength
this very day that I may fulfill all the duties of my state
conscientiously, that I may do what is right and just.

Let my charity be such as to offend no one, and hurt
no one’s feelings; so generous as to pardon sincerely
any wrong done to me.

Assist me, O Holy Spirit,
in all my trials of life,
enlighten me in my ignorance,
advise me in my doubts,
strengthen me in my weakness,
help me in all my needs,
protect me in temptations
and console me in afflictions.

Graciously hear me, O Holy Spirit,
and pour Your light into my heart,
my soul, and my mind.

Assist me to live a holy life
and to grow in goodness and grace.

Amen.

Loving God I trust that having given njlisa the grace to desire to grow profoundly in prayer and in relationship with You,
You will also bless her with the necessary graces to deepen in prayer and holiness in Your sight.
In Your loving mercy please let it be so.
 
Lord, teach us to pray,

Psalm 86:1-7

Incline your ear, Lord, and answer me,
for I am poor and oppressed.

Preserve my life, for I am devoted;
save your servant who trusts in you.

You are my God; be gracious to me, Lord;
to you I call all the day.

Gladden the soul of your servant;
to you, Lord, I lift up my soul.

Lord, you are good and forgiving,
most merciful to all who call on you.

Lord, hear my prayer;
listen to my cry for help.

On the day of my distress I call to you,
for you will answer me.

Prayer for the Help of the Holy Spirit

O God, send forth Your Holy Spirit into my heart that
