Hi, I am a mother of one child and have been homeschooling my dd for two years now. There has been situations in two of my sister’s lives that have come up that I see the need to help them in homeschooling their children. Both of these sisters are single mothers and struggling financially. Child number one is a 12 year old going into 7th grade. She is a intelligent girl and is being bullied in her Catholic school so much that she is dreading going back. She already suffers from depression from her parents divorce and trauma from what her father has done to her and her brother while on visitation years ago that her mom can’t see putting her back in that school. I can’t see putting her in a public school. I have asked my dh if I can homeschool her and he wasn’t to crazy about the idea, but agreed. Her mom will be helping and I will just be doing some work with her. I hope to help this child see that the Lord loves her and she can be happy again. The second child, who is really now an adult, is 18 years old but a slow learner. His mother has not been keeping up with his studies for he has been fighting with her all the way. As a result of their fighting for years he is at a second grade reading level. He was tested at Sylvan Learning Center. He is in the 9th grade, but needs most of his classes read to him. I hope to get him up to his grade level of reading and his self confidence back up. He hates himself and is very suicidal. He is very very depressed and angry at his mother and God. His father left his mother when he was 6 months old and he doesn’t call him dad but by his first name. He almost hates his dad. His dad lives in Puerto Rico. I hope to help him with forgiving his dad for his sake so that he can let go of all that anger and depression. He is so handsome to waste his life. I blame his mother for being so behind in his education, but she has been diagnosed with major depression for years and really should have never been homeschooling him. But she never wanted to put him in school. Now he wants to quit school and go to work for that is how much he is fighting with his mother. His mother cries over it and it is not a good situation for either of them. My mom called me worried for both of them and I told her that my nephew needs to work than if he doesn’t want to go to school anymore. She begged me to ask my dh if he would allow me to try to help my nephew. I asked my dh and he said no at first. He reluctantly said yes later. I told both of my sisters, because I do suffer from disablities myself, that I will try to help their children but if it became too much for me that they would have to put them in school or teach them full time themselves. They understood that, but I don’t want to quit.

I am asking you all to pray for me from now for God to give me the grace to homeschool three children and one has special needs. He is the oldest. He may be my biggest challenge. The two younger girls may not be so hard. I hope that my dd will learn to work on her own in all this for these last two years she has been wanting me by her side.

Thank you for your prayers. I will attempt all this in September, but ask for prayers from now. I do suffer from chronic back, neck pain, and fibromyalgia and that is why I hope I can do this. I am going to a healing service this Tuesday and if it be the will of God to cure me so be it. Thanks again for your prayers and please pray for these three kids as well. There names are: Mariana (my dd), and Marissa (niece) and Miguel (nephew).

Hail Mary,
full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the Fruit Of Thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

It is so beautiful what you are doing for those suffering children and I praise you! What you do to the least of God’s children, you are doing for and to God Himself. I assure you that you and these precious children will be included in my daily prayers. Keep strong in faith and keep seeking God’s Kingdom and His righeousness. All (these) things will be added unto you and God will make up for where you are weak in teaching. Peace!

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus
Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius
Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell; the third day He
rose again from the dead; He ascended
into heaven, is seated at the right hand of
God the Father Almighty; from thence He
shall come to judge the living and the
dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the
Holy Catholic Church, the communion of
Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and life
everlasting. Amen.
