I have been looking through the prayer intentions, and I realize there are many more serious prayer requests, so I thank you for praying for my intentions.

I am a Catholic girl in my mid-twenties; since youth I have prayed for the person I am to marry, if marriage is in fact my vocation. I know I should trust God will bring the right person into my life, but I begin to lose hope when I look around and see many other good, single Catholic girls, but so few good Catholic men, and all of the guys I have met in the last few years have not been at all the right ones. I would really truly like to know where it is God is calling me to be right now, whether it is to marriage or whether God wants something else from me; in any case, I don’t want to be one of those people who goes through life regretting the fact that she settled for less than she really wanted. So I ask for your prayers that I may soon learn what is my vocation in life, and that I have the patience to trust God. Thanks for your prayers!

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, turn your ear to my prayer. Amen

Prayers for your intentions….

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear my prayers. Amen

O Great Saint Joseph,
you were completely obedient
to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Obtain for me the grace to know
the state of life that God
in His providence has chosen for me.
Since my happiness on earth,
and perhaps even my final happiness in heaven,
depends on this choice,
let me not be deceived in making it.
Obtain for me the light to know God’s Will,
to carry it out faithfully,
and to choose the vocation
which will lead me to a happy eternity.
Amen

Lord Jesus,
up until now you have been quietly
preparing me to be your disciple.
Now the time of preparation is ending.
I seem to hear you say to me, as once to Peter;
“Will you also go away?”

You were saddened then by friends who failed you.
But Peter did not fail.
“Lord,” he said, “to whom shall we go?
You have the words of eternal life.”

I stand with Peter.
Through prayer and counsel,
show me, Lord,
where it is in your vineyard
that you want me to serve.
Then give me strength to be faithful.

Mary, Mother and Model,
help me to respond in generous love
to the call of your Divine Son.

Amen.
(Gilsgirl: Once I prayed that if God wanted another man in my life, please Send him to me, cause I wasn’t going to look. Leaving church one day, the priest greeting us grabbed my hand and introduced me to the guy behind me. Of course I thought “That’s him!!” But it wasnt. I think God meant it to be the priest! maybe as an advisor. So keep your eyes and ears and mind open.) God bless.

Thanks for the prayers! Please keep praying for me, especially for clarity in regards a relationship with a friend.

“I’m not sure where you’re leading me, unless you’ve led me here, to where I’m lost enough to let myself be led.”

Everything
My everything, our God, I give to You—every breath, each cell, all that I ever am, have or do.
Now I ask for Your everything—whatever You wish to give to me and to others through me.
Please nurture and grant* this everything* growth, blossom and fruit. Then that everything I do give to You—in time and eternity.
