Prayers to let go of past transgressions and hurt feelings. I want to forget some of things that have happened to me last year. I need to be more self-focused and let go of my need to right every wrong. Life does not work that way.

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular CRATUS, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Today’s rosary and invocation to Our Lady Of Sorrows as well as the Infant of Prague Devotion went out to all of the petitioners here on the Board.

This includes you and your petitions.

Additionally whenever I think of all of the wrongs and wickedness inflicted upon me by other people, I also remember all the wrongs and wickedness that I myself (regrettably) have ALSO inflicted on other people, and I get humbled by that. There is not an adult walking this earth who, on numerous occasions and after some time has passed, hasn’t said to him or herself:

“I wish I hadn’t mistreated her that way.”

“I wish I had been kinder to him.”

“Even though I was angry, that person should not have suffered because of my personal issues.”

“If I could go back now and behave in a kinder and gentler and more understanding way, I would do so.”

Whenever I ask God’s forgiveness and I forgive others in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, I also ask God to inspire those whom I have wronged throughout my life to forgive me as well.

May the Peace of the Risen Lord Be Upon You.

Oftentimes Cratus, hurts and transgressions cannot be so easily dealt with because they actually can leave wounds in the soul. This needs special healing and even deliverence. If you find yourself reacting in certain ways that is hard to control, when something sensitive
Is mentioned, then there could be a spiritual force taking advantage. This is because a wound leaves a hole or access point in the soul. Most times we need the help of someone with some expertise in this area. For example, I remember the testimony of a pastor, Mark Virkler, who had several hurts and disappointments in ministry and at a certain conference, he attended, 22 demons were cast out of him. Now don’t get me wrong, he was not possessed, but they were attached to him in some way due to soul wounds and when that happens, they are able to “yank your chain” when someone does something or speaks a word that brings a memory of your wound. There are really so many walking wounded. We almost all suffer from this. For many, it is something that caused shame in childhood and believe me, this just doesn’t go away. We need to get help. Dear Jesus,
Please hear my prayer. I go along each day, trying to run my life my own way. I forget to let go and give you control.

I wonder why things aren’t going the way I want them to go. I forget to stop and ask what you want, Lord. Please help me to give you control, Jesus. I want to follow you. I want what you desire for me.

Help me to realize that when you close one door, you open the one you want me to walk through. Help me also to realize that what I desire may not be what is meant for me, or what is best for me. Maybe it will lead me away from what your great plan is for me.

Lord, let me accept each day as a gift. Let me follow the path you choose for me. Help me to be thankful for what you give me and not to worry about my needs. I trust you will take care of all my needs. Remind me that my role is to care for those around me and focus on those who need my help.

Help me not to be judgmental, as we are all equal in God’s eyes. Help me to see the good in all of your creations. Let me leave the judging to you, dear Jesus. Instead, I will concentrate on living to please you!

Help me, dear Jesus, be who and what you want me to be. Give me strength, faith and hope, and most of all, give me guidance each and every day. I let go and give you control.
