:gopray2:

Dear Lord, thank you for the night’s rest you gave me.
I am grateful for the renewed energy and enthusiasm
it has brought. Accept my gratitude for bringing me to
this new day. I accept it as a precious gift from You.
May I use it minute by minute to do Your will. Guide
me in every problem I face, every decision I make
this day. Help me to treat everyone kindly, fairly and
thoughtfully. If I should forget You during this day,
please do not forget me.
Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Our Lady, Queen of Angels
A Bernardine Sister was shown in spirit the vast desolation caused by the devil throughout the world, and at the same time she heard the Blessed Virgin telling her that it was true, hell had been let loose upon the earth; and that the time had come to pray to her as Queen of the Angels and to ask of her the assistance of the heavenly legions to fight against these deadly foes of God and of men.

“But my good Mother,” she replied, “you who are so kind, could you not send them without our asking?” “No,” Our Lady answered, “because prayer is one of the conditions required by God Himself in obtaining favors.” Then the Blessed Virgin communicated the following prayer, bidding the Sister to have it printed and distributed:

:gopray2:
August Queen of Heaven! Sovereign Mistress of the angels! Thou who from the beginning hast received from God the power and mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly beseech thee to send thy holy Legions, that, under thy command and by thy power, they may pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks and drive them hence into the abyss of eternal woe.
Amen

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

All praise to You, O God, this night,
For all the blessings of the light.
Keep us, we pray, O King of Kings,
Beneath Your own almighty wings.

Forgive us, Lord, through Christ Your Son,
Whatever wrong this day we’ve done.
Your peace give to the world, O Lord,
That we might live in one accord.

Enlighten us, O blessed Light,
And give us rest throughout the night.
O strengthen us, that for Your sake,
We all may serve You when we wake.
Amen

Psalm 118:24

Praise God in His holy sanctuary;
give praise in the mighty dome of heaven.
Give praise for His mighty deeds,
praise Him for His great majesty.
Give praise with blasts upon the horn,
praise Him with harp and lyre.
Give praise with tambourines and dance,
praise Him with strings and pipes.
Give praise with clashing cymbals,
praise Him with sounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath give
praise to the Lord!
Hallelujah!
Amen

Dear God, as I begin this day
let me turn my thoughts to You,
and ask for Your help in guiding me
in everything I say and do.

Give me the patience that I need
to keep my peace of mind,
and with life’s cares, I hope, Dear God,
some happiness to find.

Let me live but for today,
not worrying what’s ahead,
For I have trust that You will see
I get my “Daily Bread”.

Give me the courage to face life’s trials
and not from trouble run,
let me keep this thought in mind,
“Thy Will”, not “Mine” be done.

And if some wish I do not get
though I have prayed to thee,
help me to believe and understand
You know what’s best for me.

I’ve failed You many times, I know,
but when tonight I rest,
I hope that I can kneel and say,
“Dear God, I’ve tried my best”.
Amen

God my Father in heaven, I pledge my allegiance to You. I offer You my life, my work, and my heart. In turn give me the grace of obeying Your every direction, to the fullest possible extent.
Amen

Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the Immaculate heart of Mary, I offer You the prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day. For all the intentions of your Sacred Heart. In union with the holy sacrifice of the mass throughout the world. In reparation for my sins, and for the intentions of the Holy Father.
Amen

Blessed Mother of Jesus, protect our Holy Pope, Francis, and bless his intentions.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and Blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our deaths.

:gopray2:

O God, send forth Your Holy Spirit into our hearts that we may perceive,
into our minds, that we may remember, and into our souls that we may
meditate. Inspire us to speak with piety, holiness, tenderness and mercy.
Teach, guide and direct our thoughts and senses from beginning to end.
May Your grace ever help and correct us, and may we be strengthened
now with wisdom from on high, for the sake of Your infinite mercy.

The Lord is my Shepherd,
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures,
He leadeth me beside still waters.
He restoreth my soul. And yea,
though I walk
through the Valley of the Shadow of Death,
I will fear no evil,
for Thou are with me.
Thy rod and Thy staff,
they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life.
And I will live in the
house of the Lord
forever. Amen.
