Hello.
I’m having a quite hard time at the moment, struggling with overcoming traumatic things in my past. I also have OCD and painful intrusive thoughts.
Thank you for your prayers.
If anybody knows about a patron saint that might could help with this, I’d be happy to hear as well.

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon tuffsmurf in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.
Jesus, Help Me!

In every need let me come to You with humble trust,
saying:
Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations:
Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials:
Jesus, help me!
In the failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments,
troubles and sorrows:
Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and Your Grace alone can assist me:
Jesus, help me!
When I throw myself on Your tender Love as Savior:
Jesus, help me!
When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good
come from my efforts:
Jesus, help me!
When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me:
Jesus, help me!
When I am ill, and my head and hands cannot work and
I am lonely:
Jesus, help me!

Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls and short-
comings of every kind:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, help me and never forsake me!

Amen

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal tuffsmurf. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into tuffsmurf’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

St. Patrick and St. Vincent de a Paul come to mind, as both were captured and sold into slavery when they were young and both overcame that traumatic time by faith in God. For OCD, St. Dymphna of course, but I also think St. Therese of Liseaux is a great intercessor for anxiety, scruples and obsessive thoughts. St. Alphonse’s Ligouri in particular had a horrible time with scruples, if your OCD tends to go in that direction. Praying for you!

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!

Jesus, I trust in You!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You!

Amen.

Ask St. Ignatius of Loyola for intercessions, he had scrupulosity,

I’ll pray for you

Thank you all for your prayers. It’s a good thing knowing that people are praying for you.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

I pray to St. Alphonsus Liguori altho he
suffered severely from scruples, he counted
it a blessing to make him sensitive to
sin in his life, that he intercede for your
OCD, that you will be able to FOCUS
on loving God and hating the world, the
flesh and the devil and be devoted to God
and despise the world, the flesh and the
devil.

Remember, O gracious Virgin Mary,
that never has it been known that anyone
who had fled to you for protection, implored
your help or sought your intercession was
left unaided. Inspired by this confidence
we fly to you O Virgin of virgins, our Mother.
To you we come, before you we stand, sinful
and sorrowful, O Mother of the Word Incarnate
despise NOT our petitions, but in your mercy
hear and answer us!
Amen.

Dear Lord

Litany of Humility
O Jesus! meek and humble of heart, Hear me.
From the desire of being esteemed,**
Deliver me, Jesus.**
From the desire of being loved…
From the desire of being extolled …
From the desire of being honored …
From the desire of being praised …
From the desire of being preferred to others…
From the desire of being consulted …
From the desire of being approved …
From the fear of being humiliated …
From the fear of being despised…
From the fear of suffering rebukes …
From the fear of being calumniated …
From the fear of being forgotten …
From the fear of being ridiculed …
From the fear of being wronged …
From the fear of being suspected …

That others may be loved more than I,**
Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.**
That others may be esteemed more than I …
That, in the opinion of the world,
others may increase and I may decrease …
That others may be chosen and I set aside …
That others may be praised and I unnoticed …
That others may be preferred to me in everything…
That others may become holier than I, provided that I may become as holy as I should…
