Hello Everyone,

I ask for prayers in regars to a to repair a relationship. Amy and I had a wonderful loving relationship until one night while she was drinking she decided to end it. We have been working to go back to the way things were. However, things have not been the same since others started to interfere saying we are not right for each other because we are from different walks of life. I have said a Novena to St Theresa and on completion to my surprise a couple came into her work with the same names as us ordering a cake with the identical flower arrangment on the cake as the flowers I had last given her. She believes it is a sign from above much as I do, but she stated she chooses to ignore it. All prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time and prayers I know they are valuable!!!

Danny - I will pray that you are given clarity in this situation. Remember, not all prayers are answered with a yes or in a way we hope. Our Lord has a plan for you. Place your burden and your hopes in Him, Who’s name is Mercy.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

:gopray: praying for the relationship and for God’s direction for you.

Jeremiah 29

11 For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Welcome to CAF. Praying for discernment for both of you, and that God’s will be done.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

St. Raphael the Archangel, please pray for our brother Danny.

Praying very hard for you. My advice would be to keep looking. Her reluctance seems to me to be her true feelings and you may be better off ending it. It’s very difficult, but in the long run you’ll probably be glad you did.

I know you’re not asking for advice and I know I don’t know the situation, but it looks like, “she’s made a decision,” is the crucial part of it. When someone has made a decision, sometimes there’s pretty much nothing you can do about it. She obviously has her reasons and I’d wager there’s more to it than you know. If she chooses to ignore signs, as she says, I mean signs she believes in but chooses to ignore, that means even if she accepts something as real, but it interferes with her decision, she will cut out that part of reality. So this means she’s pretty much determined. For what reason we don’t know. You may need to let go, however.

This is from someone who understands you. The last relationship I believed started in connection with my prayers (the girl who turned me down came to me on her own when I decided to let go and start looking around, committing it all to God’s care), but things still ended anyway. I’m not exactly sure to what extent God plans things in our lives, but we do have free will anyway and perhaps she’s not right for you.

Prayers of course. 🙂
